Photo by Muhammed Muheisen @mmuheisen | I captured this image on a hill just behind my home in the suburbs of Athens. Since the lockdown began in Greece due to the outbreak of coronavirus, I've been walking around my neighborhood, discovering the beauty surrounding me—it's the thing that keeps me positive, and it's something I didn’t have the chance to do before, being always on the go with my camera. Photo by Muhammed Muheisen @mmuheisen | Zahra is part of my life, and I’m a part of hers. Zahra Mahmoud and her family fled the war in their native Syria, taking refuge in Jordan in 2015. Every year since, I visit them, and through the years I've seen Zahra grow in front of the lens. A few days ago, I spoke to her and her family on the phone, and most of the conversation was about the coronavirus and how scared and vulnerable they and the people surrounding them feel. Until we meet again, be safe, be kind, stay home, and keep positive. We are all in this together. For more photos and videos of the refugee crisis, follow me @mmuheisen @mmuheisenpublic. We live in a world that destroys flowers. . . . . #Repost @natgeo ・・・ Photo by Muhammed Muheisen @mmuheisen | The outbreak of coronavirus has brought demand for flowers to a near standstill in the Netherlands, leaving many in the floriculture industry with no choice but to destroy a big part of their production. Amor Pat❤️ . . The Rose City, is one of the destinations that I always look forward to visit. For me every time I step in feels like the first time. I’m always amazed by how small we appear in front of such historical sites. I captured this image of this majestic view of the Monastery after a very long hike last February.
