@sabestianarike well first of all brown skin is lighter some days and darker in others. Second her natural skin color is that in the movie Om Shanti Om ( go check it out). Third: ever heard of lighting? Lastly... yes unfortunately because many Indian and other people actually complain about her skin color... it’s not permanent tho. She looks beautiful naturally.
This is her original colour. Every other pic of hers she looks whitewashed. Double standards when celebs talk about their hate for colour discrimination but themselves go get a melanin reduction treatments
Hi Deepika h w r yu..
@faithfullyhopefull she has bleached her skin too much. That's why her skin tone looks different in every pic and here it is looking brown because it is international cover of vogue and so she wouldn't have used too much of make up in front of all these international stars when you see her paparazzi pic you will notice. And yes this is her original skin tone i. e. Brown but sometimes she looks way more fairer than aishwarya. She uses way too much make up.
Which year old pic is this
My favourite actress 😍 love you ....
@sabestianarike Her skin looks different because of lighting as well. Yes she has become lighter but her original shade of brown like that in Om Shanti Omg looks best on her. She is a natural beauty, a model as a teen. Compared to other she really doesn’t pack on makeup... you can see her bone structure is pretty amazing. Many times in Hollywood you can see their skin colour changes all the time.. from pale to fake tan. Unfortunately pressure from society plays a big role... but as I said she’s natural beauty she doesn’t need it.
@faithfullyhopefull Deepika Padukone does not have the same skin color as what she had when she did Om shanti om. Yes I agree Hollywood does the same thing but they openly do accept their love for tan colour. That’s not the case with us. We have celebs like Deepika and Kajol who have lightened their skin tone. But they never come out in open. Hypocrisy because they say colour discrimination is unacceptable but they change their skin tone.
@anika.182 She looked best in Om Shanti Om! Natural beauty and her skin in this photo is pretty similar. Hollywood celebs are rarely questioned about anything despite having higher tendencies of being more fake in appearance.....Indian celebs are heavily scrutinized in comparison. Anyways don’t have expectations for celebrities to help the general public or make a difference by being honest about hypocrisy... most don’t care it’s about maintaining their lifestyles
